Coffee Liqueur

25% ALC/VOL | 50 Proof | 750 mL

A blend of West End Vodka distilled from grapes, locally roasted Fair Trade beans from Dawn Chorus Coffee, unfiltered, raw honey from our friends at Circle B Apiary out of Circleville, and a bit of our own vanilla infusion; our coffee liqueur tastes like coffee first, candy second.

We begin with Cafe Femenino beans from Peru. Femenino is a women’s empowerment organization developed to help women coffee producers overcome abuse, poverty, and gender inequality. These beans, which are imported by Organic Products Trading Company (OPTCO), are roasted by Silver Bridge Coffee in Gallipolis, Ohio to the specs of Athenian Constantine Fallers’ company, Dawn Chorus. When we ...

Elderberry Brandy

40% ALC/VOL | 80 Proof | 375 mL

When I was growing up, my Grandfather always had a couple of vintages of his homemade Elderberry Wine aging in oak barrels in the cellar. My father would tell stories of he and his buddies laying on their backs, opening the spigots for each other, and hoping “Pa” didn’t come home too soon. The idea of carrying on the tradition of Elderberry Wine led me to what I believe to be the obvious conclusion of a spirit buff, distill it into brandy.

45% ALC/VOL | 90 Proof | 750 mL

I’ve been a friend of Chris Chmiel of Integration Acres for many years now. Chmiel has been my supplier for the papaw in my wheat beer for over a decade. As I was working out my formulation for our Gin, I went to Chris for advice, knowing he is a gin guy. “Spicebush,” he said. That’s where it all started.

Lindera benzoin, commonly known as spicebush or even Appalachian allspice, is a native shrub to our parts and seemed a natural fit. As the common name implies, the berries of this understory woody plant, have a wonderful, rich and spicy, flavor and aroma, similar to the ...

Vodka from Grapes

40% ALC/VOL | 80 Proof | 750 mL

vodka distilled from grapes (seasonal)

Our goal is to use ingredients from growers we know, the closer to home the better, whenever possible. This Vodka is distilled from Vidal grapes, half of which were grown a few ridges over at Shade Winery. The other half were grown in Republic, Ohio at Dead Drop Vineyards.

This ultra-smooth vodka is made from Vidal pomace to be exact. Pomace is the combination of pulp, skins, and seeds left over after the initial pressing of the grapes. We take the pomace from Shade Winery after their annual pressing and add fresh water back. We let this mixture sit overnight and press ...
